Review on Matrix Nutrition 100% whey protein
Matrix Nutrition 100% Whey Protein Powder is a Whey Protein Supplement from Matrix Nutrition an India Based Sports/Body building Supplement Manufacturing/Repacking Company.
Taste: 7/10.
Chocolate Flavor tasted okay.
Available Flavors: Strawberry,Chocolate and Vanilla.
Effectiveness: 8/10
I stacked up with Inner Armour Creatine. As it has multivitamins, Creatine and Glutamine recovery should take less time, but this is not the case.Perhaps this is because of whey protein isolate is quickly digested and not filling.Even after having this protein shake one will feel hungry though it has multivitamins which should actually aid recovery. There are some ingredients in the powder like chromium may be this is the reason for feeling hungry.Chromium is a know fat burner,if you are already lean then you will definitely feel hungry as it has nothing to burn.
Side Effects: Consume as per the directions and limit to 2 servings a day, drink plenty of water.
No Bloating,Gas Troubles.
Mix ability: Stirring with spoon is enough for perfect mix ability.
Price: It is competitively priced when compared to other Indian supplement brands.I think it is affordable protein blend for the price we pay.Available in 500 gm,1 kg,2 kg.
500 gm tub will give you around 15 servings only.
Cons: No BCAA profile given for this product.
Pros: Whey protein Isolates,Multivitamins,Creatine,Glutamine and other useful minerals.
Almost zero amount of fat and zero cholesterol.
Can be used at any time of the day. Mixable with juice/water/milk and other supplement can be stacked with it.
Best to use as Post workout.
Verdict:
Value for money(If you buy it for rs 500-600 for 500 gm).But there are also better supplements available at the counter,if you are willing to spend a few more bucks.I think this company is a repacker.Try to get the supplement for a cheap price.
Available at local supplement stores at all major cities, can be purchased online in India
