British Nutrition’s Platinum Full Throttle Creatine
It is a Creatine Blend Supplement from British Nutritions an India Based Sports/Body building Supplement Manufacturing Company.
Creatine is a natural substance that turns into creatine phosphate in the body. Creatine phosphate helps make a substance called adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP provides the energy for muscle contractions.
The body produces some of the creatine it uses. It also comes from protein-rich foods such as meat or fish.
Creatine is naturally produced in the human body from amino acids primarily in the kidney and liver. It is transported in the blood for use by muscles. Approximately 95% of the human body’s total creatine is located in skeletal muscle.
Consumption of creatine pre workout aids in ATP which helps in increasing the workout duration. When used as a post workout it replenishes the ATP lost during workout there by improving the recovery.
The product reviewed here is a creatine blend, most of the studies conducted so far is on creatine monohydrate.
* As it is a Proprietary Blend, the studies conducted on creatine monohydrate so far,the results may differ using the product.

Taste: 0/10.
We used unflavored product.Unflavored supplement can be mixed with water or any other beverage,so we thought it is better.Taste is like some sort of tablet mixed with water.
Available Flavors: Orange. We did’nt tasted orange flavor.
Effectiveness: 5/10
I stacked up with British Nutritions Platinum Whey and Glutamine. When i am using this product. As this is a creatine blend,i observed better absorption of creatine, may be due to presence of Maltodextrin,Dextrose. As lot of studies state that consuming creatine with a high glycemic food increases creatine uptake.I feel bloated at times after using this with glutamine after workout.Recovery improved a lot by stacking all the three products.
Side Effects:
Bloating,Gas Troubles,Vomiting sensation during workout if taken with carbonated beverage/any other beverage other than water.
Mix ability: Stirring with spoon will result in some mix ability,blender/shaker may be required for better mix ability. As suggested by the brand lukewarm water when used may result in better mixability.
Price: 300g of product costs around Rs 650,the product is somewhat heavily priced when compared to creapure creatine monohydrate.300gm tub will only give you around 20 servings as the serving size is 15 gm.
Cons: Here for this product there are a lot.
1.It is not creapure creatine monohydrate.
2.It is a blend, not all blends work for everyone.
3.As it is a blend mixing with anything other than water may result in vomiting,headache,cramps,etc..
4.Too costly, servings are not even at least 30.
Pros:
Somewhat effective in filling muscles with water, when used as preworkout you may see your increased energy to do one more rep.
Can be used as Pre-workout and Post workout.
Verdict:
We don’t recommend this product as it is a blend, not value for money, side effects, not creapure.
Available at local supplement stores at all major cities, can be purchased online in India.
